Yesterday was probably the worst day of my life. No joke, it really was. It started out fine, like any normal day. Then I went to work over at Sunset Beach Elementary. It was my second day of work there, not that that has anything to do with anything but just thought that I would say that. Anywho, everything was going fine, the kids weren't being punks or anything like that so I can't complain about that. At about 5:15 there was only one kid left and I felt kinda bad for him so we just kept messing around playing tag and stuff. Then finally his mom's boyfriend comes late to pick him up. Once he actually pulls into the parking lot, I start walking over there with the little boy and he says "Yeah, there's my mom's boyfriend who hits me with a broom or a paddle whenever I don't listen to him". I was in shock. Here is this little kid who is just totally awesome and he gets beat by his moms flippen boyfriend. I didn't tell the ladies in charge right away because honestly, I was in a rage and just wanted to go over there and beat the living crap out of the guy. So instead I go across the street to the ever famous Pipeline beach and just wait until my sister gets there to pick me up. However, she doesn't get there for an hour, so I was waiting, in the rain, for my sister to come get me, with nothing to keep me company save my phone and all this rage that is building up inside me because of that idiot guy. I mean, seriously, who beats a little kid? Do they like the feeling of beating a poor inocent kid? I would love to have just 5 minutes alone with those people and just lay them out.
So finally my sister comes to get me and I tell her what the little kid said. She then tells me that we should go buy one of the A+ advisors house and tell her what he said. So we do but she isn't there so I get her phone number and call her up later. The lady said that she wouldn't be suprised if that is happening but that she will also try and do something about it like talk to the kid and see if it really is happening. So I did everything that I could for the kid and I really do hope that everything turns out alright for him because I would hate to see him get hurt.
Like I said earlier I had nothing to keep me company save my phone and rage. While I was waiting I was trying to talk to Jess, or, the girl from Central Cali as all you guys refer to her as. But we got into an argument. So strap yourselves in because here is the whole story. I texted her earlier in the day saying "I miss you" because I really did since that last time that I actually talked to her was last week. She responded "I miss you too but I'm in english right now, I will text you when I get out." Went throughout the day, no text, so I text her after work saying "Must have been one hell of a long english class". Her response "I'm really sorry that I didn't text you back ty. JK." As you probably figured out from the first 2 paragraphs I was already in a bad mood and this kinda made it worse. I responded "Wait so you are j/k about being sorry for not texting me?" I mean, that's kinda mean to say to somebody. So she responds "What's the matter ty?" my response, like any other guys in that situation "Nothin". Waited about 15 minutes, no response from her, so I said "Have a good time in Utah, tell Kristin I said hi". She writes back "Thanks". I then respond "What's going on between us Jess, I would really love to know". I mean because there are times where I don't hear anything from her. I text her, get nothing back. I call her, get nothing back, and yet she tells me all the time, "I love you Ty!" So she responds saying "I don't understand, what do you mean ty?" I go on to say "I feel like we are growing apart and i hate it." She in turn says "why because we never talk?" and I respond "Exactly." Wait a little longer, no response, so I say "whatever, lets just forget about it." She says "What, you want to forget about us?" I say "No, not at all." I then ask her "what do you tell your friends about me and you?" She says "that I don't have a boyfriend and that I am talkin to a guy in Hawaii." I then tell her what I tell all of you guys all the time whenever I talk about her. "That I've only actually been with her for a week of my life and she has made a bigger impact then any girl I've ever met. She's the only girl that I want to be with and I'm in love with her." She then responds "Are you mad at me? You know I love you ty!" I then say "I really wish that I could say that I know that, but I don't." She responds "I don't know what to say. I'm going to do homework, night." The last part is what has been bothering me for months now. She tells me that she loves me, but it doesn't seem like it at all. I try to talk to her all the time, try calling, texting, e-mailing, and if I am lucky I will get a response. I may be wrong, but if you really love somebody, shouldn't you actually make an effort to talk to them or at least tell them you will call/text them later and actually do it? Am I in the wrong here?

Sorry that it has been a whole week since my last update, but since people don't really comment on anything then I just figured that nobody really cared if I updated this or not. Then again, I could be wrong. Anywho, this past week has been alright. I took my first test for my math class on tuesday so that was pretty fun. I got the results for it and lets just say you can tell that I haven't taken math for a while. I did get better then the class average though so I was pretty happy about that. I'm not really too worried though since my professor said that he was going to be giving us some extra credit stuff to do so we can get our grade to where we feel it should be, and he also said that at the end of the year he drops our lowest test grade. Man, I love this school!
Other then the academic stuff, life has been good. I got a job over at Sunset Beach Elementary school and will soon be starting there. I also got a longboard the other day, so I'm stoaked about that. It is so much nicer to just cruise around on a longboard instead of walking to all my classes. It's also nice to have for when I want to go to somebody's place off campus or just to the beach. I'm so flippen bad on it though, but I will get better with time. Right now it is raining like no other since a hurricane is like just to the north of Oahu but it's breaking up into just a tropical storm. I heard that there is another one the is in like the central pacific heading this way so hopefully that one doesn't hit either, because if it does, we are screwed. It's really nuts though with all these hurricanes going on. I don't think I have ever heard of so many happening so close to each other. Well, that's it from me, hope all is well back on the mainland. Late

What a week it has been. It's hard to imagine that I have already been here for three weeks. It honestly feels like I have only been here for about a week. Kinda creepy when you think about it. Anywho, this week has been pretty sweet. There was a competition the other day called BYUH Idol and I have to admit, it was pretty sweet. I thought that they were just going to be showing the whole thing on a huge screen but it was actually live. There was this one guy who is from the Phillipines that sang "Spanish Eyes". I was shocked since he did a really good job. The funny thing was what one of the judges said about it. She was this big Polynisian lady and when it came her time to talk, she said "Baby, you can look into my Spanish eyes whenever you want to!" The host of the show responded to her with "Wait a minute, aren't you married?" and the lady says "Yes I am and my husband is in the stands right now. In fact, hearing this guy sing that song put me in a really good mood!" My response to this whole thing was..AHHHH SNAP! She flippen admited that she got turned on by this song! It was actually really funny. Good times. There was also a girl that was from New Zealand and she did a great job. It also helped that she is the most attractive girl that I have seen on campus.
Other then the BYUH Idol, classes have been alright. I have my first test in Math 110 on monday so that should be fun. I also have a love/hate relationship with my Physical Science class. When I am in the class, I love it, but when I am out of it, I hate it. Does that seem a little weird to anybody else but me? Then again, I am weird like that. There was also a volleyball game last night here. We beat a team from NoCal so that was pretty cool. It is so weird though since our mascot is the Seasiders which is pretty much just a local guy. At the game last night though there was somebody in a gecko outfit, break dancing on the floor and stuff. Wouldn't you think that there would be an actual Seasider at the games and not a gecko? Then again, I am at BYUH so things are a little weird. That's all from Hawaii. Late

As you can probably see by the new link that I have on the side of the page, I finally have a site set up for all of my pics. Unfortunatly I can only upload so many a month, so as of right now, there isn't very much of stuff on there. I just have some pics at the YRP and then one pic of the man who helped me out with setting up the page. So feel free to go there and check out all my great pictures. You can also comment on them, which is a double plus, so seriously, go there and enjoy yourself.
Now for life in Hawaii. These past couple of days have been pretty cool. Mainly just been going to class, studying, hitting up the beach, and I actually was able to go to a couple of parties this weekend. On Friday we went to two parties. One was at what everybody calls the Outback house, and the other was at the Canoe House. Both of them were really lame. People were dancing at the Outback house, but there was no hott girls, so that sucked. Everybody was at the Canoe house, listening to four guys play the guitar, who I might add were horrible at it. Saturday night we went to the Compounds to a Black and White party, meaning you wear black and white, you dance, and there is a black night in there. It was actually really fun and I wish we were able to stay longer but the guys that drove us there wanted to leave. So I didn't really get a chance to mingle with the crowd and meet new people. We met a few, but not many. All in all though it was a good night. Other then that, UCLA beat the crap out of Rice on saturday, Notre Dame beat Michigan in a huge upset, and Texas came from behind to beat Ohio State. It was a great day in college football. Well, that's about it from my end. Hope everybody is doing well back in Cali. Late

Heddo Heddo, to all my fellow people out there in blogger land. Well, now time for yet another long awaited update. Life in Hawaii goes on. I went to the USC, UH game on Saturday and for those of you that know me, I hate USC with a passion. I have always been a UCLA fan all of my life, and I have to give props to USC for what they have accomplished, but I still do not like them. By the way, UCLA beat SDSU on saturday, and my dad got tickets to the UCLA, Oklahoma game in two weeks. Thanks a lot pops, go when I am gone! So, I went to the game anyways with my sister, my roomie, and this other guy that we know. We got there, got tickets for $35 from a sclaper, and found out that they were some really crappy seats. The one good thing about the seats were that we were up at the very top, and had shade. So that was pretty cool. So we sat down in our seats which was located right in the middle of all these USC fans. Boy did I feel out of place. Next thing we know, there is about three UH fans about four rows behind us yelling and cussing out all these USC fans right behind them. The UH fans then move to a couple rows in front of us and continue to look back and yell at the USC fans. One of the UH fans was a white guy and he keeps saying "Go back to the mainland you f***** rich Howlees (aka you rich white people). You're ruining our great island!" I found this very funny, and was hoping for a fight to break loose, but unfortunatly nothing happened. The cops came and talked to the UH fans but that was it. We left after the 3rd quarter since SC was killing UH and on our way out, we saw this UH fan that was laying on a bench, throwing up like no other and peeing his pants. No joke. It was by far the sickest thing that I have ever seen. I can't say that I felt sorry for the guy though because it was his own fault. You want to drink, you get to suffer the consequences.
On Monday me and a group of people here went down to a beach called Pounders. This beach is awesome. The waves were about 6-8 feet and they pretty much crashed right on shore. So all of us were just body surfing these huge waves and crashing onto the sand. It was a blast, but I seriously got beat up. I also meet a girl there. Her name is Michelle and she is pretty good looking and from Colorado. We hit it off pretty well and I just happened to get lucky and saw her at breakfast yesterday where we had a very good conversation. So we will see how this goes, if anything happens at all, more then likely not. I did get a pic of her though, so when I get my web site for pics up, I will post it on there so you guys can see the few good lookin ones that are out here. Also, this weekend, UCLA's water polo team played against our water polo team and just killed us. It was kind of funny to watch, but then again kind of sad also. We are ranked 16th in the nation while UCLA is 1st. All I have to say is go Bruins! Welp, that's about it from Hawaii.

Wow, this is post number 50! Who would have thought that I would ever make it to 50 posts. I think that I should celebrate! WAHOO! Ok, I am done, now time for my update. For those of you who may not have heard, I tried to get onto the basketball team here. All of you do know, that I am really out of shape and so these past two days have been a living hell for me. Last night after I got done just playing basketball with the team, I got back to my dorm room, took a shower, and felt really really dizzy. I laid down for a bit and then made myself think that I was alright, although I had a couple of little dizzy times throughtout the night. Then today, after we were done with some jumping, defensive slide drills, and running suicides, the dizziness came back it was worse. The whole room was literally spinning around and I couldn't see straight. So I just leaned up against the wall, coaches asked what was wrong so I told them, and everybody else just kept on doing more drills. While leaning up against the wall I felt like I was going to pass out so I just sat down for the rest of the time, trying to rub my temples so theat I could actually see straight. That didn't help so I was just sitting down for like 15 minutes after practice was over. I was finally able to get up and walk back to the dorm room where I just laid down. That was the only thing that helped. So today I have been really dizzy, had trouble getting to my first class and I still have two more to go. I did however talk to the coach today and he said that they were going to redshirt me this year anyways, so it's no big deal if I get out of the class and just get in shape by myself. Now that is what I am going to do, just work out and get in shape at my own pace.
In other news, my cousin Brynn is pretty much engaged. My sister was talking to her the other day and Brynn said that her and her boyfriend are planning for a spring wedding. Now, what I don't understand is how can you plan on a wedding when you haven't even proposed yet? I mean, I get talking about marriage and seeing what eachother thought about it and stuff, but I don't get the planning it out before you are officially engaged. It happened to my brother, my sister is doing it right now, and so is my cousin. All I have to say is, I don't understand the things leading up to married life. Luckily I am going on a mission before that.
Also, I went to the PCC night show last night. Good times, got to see an incredible fire dance, which I did get on tape Jason, so once I have some time to make some cd's or DVD's for you guys, I will send them over. Other then that, Hawaii is great, the humidity sucks, and I have only gone to the beach twice! DANGIT! Oh well, I will go soon. Until next time, take care everybody. Late
