So today was my first day in my new ward, and it was actually pretty sweet. I am not in my sisters ward, although she really wanted me to be in there. When I woke up this morning it just felt right for me to go to the ward that I am supposed to be in, so I did. I really enjoyed it though. Other then that, not much else has happened. I am starting to have second doubts about basketball though. I feel the "pull" to go back to the game, so I haven't made up my mind yet. I will more then likely go to the coach tomorrow and talk with him for a bit and see what my chances are of 1. making the team and 2. actually playing. I felt the pull really bad tonight since we had a fireside in the Canon Activities Center which is where the main basketball floor is at, and I saw the trophy case and everything and it just felt like I really should be playing. I still don't know though, so I'm going to have to think it over a little bit more and I'll keep you guys updated about it. The only problem is that I just got a job as a busser over at the PCC so I would have to quit there if I were to play ball. Decisions decisions.
Other then that, I went to the North Shore yesterday and got some shaved ice. It was amazing and I can't believe that it's been so long since I last had it. For those of you that do not know what shaved ice is, it is pretty much like a snow cone, but they put like pineapple juice, or strawberry juice, or whatever kind you want on it and it just tastes amazing. Maybe it is just that I am in Hawaii and so everything tastes better. Then again, I did get a little sick from the caf food today, so that may not be true. I swear I am going to be fat when I get home. The reason being is that I eat three meals a day and if I were to work at the PCC, they will feed me yet another meal. The PCC food is also really really good, so I can't pass that up. Anywho, still have two more days until class starts. I have yet to register but I will do that tomorrow. Well, that's it from my end, take care everybody. Late

As many of you know, I am currently in the most beautiful place that I have ever been to. Yes, that is correct, I am in Hawaii, and you are not. Just messin about that last part, I don't want to sound like a jerk to everybody out there in blogger land. Or to those two people that actually give a crap about what I have to say. Anywho, my flight was pretty uneventful. I got an emergency exit seat, which was very nice. Other then that, nothin exciting happened. Then again, I don't really think that I would want anything exciting to happen while flying over the Pacific Ocean. When I got off the plane and down to baggage claim, my sister was there, so then I just hopped in the car and then off it was to her place. She lives in a place called the Compounds, which isn't actually too bad of a house for Hawaii. It has a really nice view of the ocean also. Granted, it is a little walk to the beach from her house, but she has a car, and in Hawaii, that is a really big deal.
I checked into the dorms yesterday and actually went through the entire day not meeting my room mate. I did meet him today though. He is from Canada (sorry to burst your bubble Jason) and a really cool, laid back guy. Other then that, today I went down to what is known here as Temple Beach and just swam around. I think that I did get stung by a jellyfish though since it hurts kinda bad right underneath my armpit. I also got a job at the PCC. I'm going to be working at a restaurant called Gateway, which is actually pretty nice, and I will be busing tables. I'll only be working 10 hours a week, but hey, it's extra money and easy work. During the interviews I meet a girl who is from Idaho, this is her third year in college (first here at BYUH), and she was very good looking. I swear she looked exactly like Ashley Busser though. Well, not exact, but I would fall for it if they both said they were sisters. She was also pretty tall, which is a plus. I'm going to be in her ward, so I'll have to keep you all posted on what happens. Welp, that is all from my end. Hope everybody in Yucaipa is doing alright after the news of the man hanging himself from the Ag building at the high school. That is just plain crazy. Take care everybody. Aloha!

It's now time for yet another long awaited update. Quite a bit has actually happened lately in this small little hick town. Hung out with the guys a bit playing some Halo 2, went to the beach, worked, and started packin up for college. That is right ladies and gentleman, I have a week left in this hell hole before I leave for paradise. Just messin, Yucaipa isn't a hell hole per say; it's just kinda boring and dull and I am ready for a change of scenery and Hawaii sounds like the ideal place to be. So the countdown has begun, I leave in a week, and I am planning on doing a lot of stuff with the buds before I am off to Hawaii to go to college.
One of the things that has happened this past week is that I went to the beach with a group of my friends. It was going to be just all guys going, since the girls bailed out on us, but one girl did come along that Greg invited. I had no problems at all with this since she turned out to be really attractive and so I thought that I would just have some fun talkin to her and see where that led. So while at the beach we chatted a little bit and we hit it off pretty good, had a little connection starting to form. We start talkin more and she tells me that her and her now ex boyfriend broke up a week ago because "he doesn't know what he wants". Me being a typical guy knows exactlly what it is he wants and it is not her. I mean think about it, if a guy breaks up with a girl with the excuse "I don't know what I want" he doesn't want this girl, but a different one. So they break up and a couple of days later he calls her and says that he is a mess, he's been really sick, and all that bull crap. Translation: the girl that I was chasing after we broke up didn't want me because I am a doosh, I want to get back together with you, but just make out and not have the relationship thing. So she falls for it, takes him back, does the making out part, but yet they are still not back together. She "loves" him and wants to do anything to keep him with her. So I talked to her a bit and told her all of this. The guy is a doosh, he treats you like crap, you deserve better, all of this. I even tell her that I was starting to like her and wouldn't mind hanging out more, but if she is going to take back a complete jerk then there is nothing that I can do. What happened here is pretty much a lesson that I would like to share with all my guy friends who happen to read this blog. Guys, I'm sorry but the nice thing doesn't work. Apparantly girls love guys who treat them like crap and only want the nice guy there to "be friends" with. I personally am sick about hearing girls say there are no nice guys out there when yet they are right by the girl, they are her best friend. I don't understand why crappy guys get great girls, and I guess I never will. If there happens to be a girl out there that thinks that I am full of crap, I would like to extend the invitation to prove me wrong. That's it from me. Late
