Well the countdown has begun for Les Mis. I must say that I am very excited to go and see that play tomorrow night. It isn't really your typical New Years Eve thing to do, but seeing as I have no life besides basketball, it will be cool. I've heard very good things about the play from Coach McLeod of all people. We were actually talking about it today when I was on the bench since we were beating the crap out of Pacific. I kinda got my knee jacked up during the game and it is still really bothering me. Don't cry ladies, I should be fine soon. By ladies I mean you Jason and Dan. Just messin.
Anywho, my brother Jeff came down from Vegas for a day. Good thing it wasn't longer otherwise all hell might have broken lose. That's another joke, but it is kinda close to the truth. Whenever he and his wife are here for a visit, my niece and nephew go completly nuts since all they do is play with him. Hard for me to get some peace and quiet which I am very used to seeing as I am the only kid at home. Jeff is actually living in Indy right now, but after he graduates from law school, he is going to be moving to Vegas since he already got a position there. Welp, that's all from my end.

It is now time for the really anticipated update! It's actually been a while, and to be honest, not a whole lot has happened.....Just messing, quite a bit has occured. My brother and sister from Hawaii are home for the holidays, and that has been pretty cool. My sister is always wanting to hang out with the fam until one of her friends calls, and then she will bail out on us to go with them. One of the times we did hang out though was to go and see Phantom of the Opera, and let me tell ya, that is one dang good movie. I actually saw the play when I was like 8 or 9, and I didn't really remember the whole thing, but the movie brought back all the memories and the movie is just awesome. Speaking of plays, I am going to go see Les Miserables down in LA on New Years Eve. I am dang excited to see it, and it is going to be awesome!
Other then that, a little holiday called Christmas occured. It was a good year this year. Got to hang out with family, eat a lot of dang good food, and it was just awesome. We open up our gifts on Christmas Eve, which is actually really cool since then I don't have to wake up at the but crack of dawn to open them. I didn't get a whole lot this year, really just Dodgeball and a t-shirt, but that is because I am getting a MP3 player from Dell, and it is supposed to be in sometime early January. I'm stoaked about that.
On a little side note, I made the All Tourny team in the West Valley Tourny. Our team sucked in it, but I had a pretty good tournament. Also, as for the girl situation, don't ask, cause honestly I don't even know what is going on it. I kinda feel like I am pulling out those flower pedals and keep saying "she loves me, she loves me not". To tell you the truth, it seems to change just that quickly too, so I don't know what's going on. Well, happy holidays to everybody. Hope you all got fat and happy this holiday season; I know I did.

I swear, I do not know a thing about women. I know that I have mentioned this before in one of my posts, but in the time from that post to this one, I have not come any closer to understanding them. In fact, I actually took a step backwards, if I even moved at all. That's the main thing though. Women are confusing and take pleasure in making us guys even more confused then we already are in this life. Here is an example. I know this girl. She is probably one of the coolest, if not the coolest girl I have ever met in my life. She has everything. A totally wonderful personality, awesome smile, great sense of humor, absolutely beautiful, and probably the only girl that a 5 minutes go by in where I do not think of her. What made this even better is that I could have sworn she had the same feelings for me. The only problem with this relationship is distance. We live about 6 hours away from eachother, so we usually just talk via the e-mail or the phone. I love talking to her and again, I felt that she loved talking to me also. Boy was I wrong! I haven't heard from her in about 2 weeks now. I've called her, left messages, wrote e-mails, no response. I don't know what's going on, but to me it seems that I got my hopes up for nothing. Yeah true, nothing probably would have happened since we live kinda far apart, but still just to talk to her made everything just so awesome.
So, that is the girl story. Other then that, nothing too exciting has happened to me. We are now able to practice in our gym at the school, and I have to tell you, it blows. It took 7 months to put new lights in, some paint, and new bathrooms in there. It was totally not worth it. Wait, it gets better. With the new lights, our floor looks green. Green! Our school colors are blue and gold, not green! It's probably been that color for a while, but at least with our old lighting the floor looked blue. Typical of YHS though. If it's not for football or baseball, it's not worth helping out.

Well, for the most part, nothing really exciting happened this week. Me and my best friend are feuding at the moment, because honestly, I feel threatend. This summer, we were together every day pretty much since we worked together at the good old YRP, and we made a pact since both of us were coming to the realization that girls are bad, and split good buddies apart. Our pact was, not to worry about girls this year, and just look at them since I must say, they are very very attractive...well, most of them are, but there are the given few. (Don't hate me cause I said that, but the ladies that do read my page are hott anyways, so it's not against you.) Anywho, school came along, and we hung out all the time, and we were having a blast. Then, it started to happen. A girl came along, and even when Mark and I had plans, he would flake to go see her, or he wouldn't go if she wasn't able to. Don't get me wrong, this is a typical guy thing to do since like I said earlier, we love the ladies.
So I haven't talked to him for the past two weeks now, and he has tried to approach me, but something happens before we start to talk that distracts us before it happens, and so now I have to be the one to approach him. Honestly, I don't know how to approach him though, and don't know what to say. I mean, I can say sorry, but am I really? I am sorry for not talking to him, yes, but other then that, I don't feel like I overreacted about it. It happened once when he had a girlfriend, and would flake out on me and even the other guys when we had plans, to be with her. I'm honestly really scared that this will happen again, and I know that I am sounding really selfish right now, but like I said earlier, both of us made a pact. Come on now, this is both our Senior years in High School. I want to end it with no regrets, doing everything that I can possibly do, and I was positive that Mark did too, and that made it even better. Best buds, side by side, reaking havoc in Yucaipa and just having a blast. No matter how this situation rolls out, I don't see that happening anymore, and I find it pretty heartbreaking, because I still want to have a blast, and make High School great this year, but what if I don't have him by my side, doing it with me?

I know it's been a while since my last blog entry, but not a whole lot really has happened to me this past week. Really, I have just been chillen, playin a little bit of basketball here and there, and doing work. Yeah right, wish I could say just a little bit of basketball! This week, we had a tourny down in Riverside. It was known as the "Big Daddy" tourny. Oh wait, it gets better. We got tournament shirts (like we always do from any tourny), and on the front, it just pretty much said "Big Daddy" tournament, with a guy dunkin. Now, you will probably never guess what the back of the shirts said. I will give you a hint; it's the lyrics to a rap song (I don't know which one, or by who, since I hate rap; sorry LJ, but I do). Give up? Alrighty then! The back of the shirts say "I Love It When You Call Me Big Pappa". I swear to you, that is what the shirts say. I wish it were a joke, since it would actually be pretty dang funny, but it isn't; it's true. Oh yeah, and our team went 2-2 this tourny, lossing our first two, but winning the next ones. All and all, we did alright, but we can improve on a lot of things.
So I must say that school has been pretty interesting the past week. I've gotten behind in my Econ. class because I have been missing 4th period due to the basketball tourny. I should catch up this weekend; hopefully. Student Council all went out tonight for a dinner, which was really cool. It was our "hard work pays off dinner" from the week of hell we went through this year; aka homecoming week. I actually have a story to tell about the dinner, so gather round, pull up a chair, and enjoy the ever famous "Story Time".
So, I get dressed after my basketball game, and check my phone's messages to see if a certain lady friend of mine called (Jess), but instead found out that Carp called me. For those of you who may not know Carp, he is the Activities Director at the school, a very cool guy, and we call him Carp for short. His last name is Carpenter, but you get the point. Anywho, Carp calls, and there was a change in plans on where we are going to be eating at. We were supposed to eat at BJ's, down in San Bernadino, but they screwed us out of our tables, for the 2nd time in a row, and so we went to Mill Creek in Mentone. I walk in, and Kevin Bailey challenges me to a little food eating contest. Me, being the competitive person I am, and not to be showed up by a guy who is about 7 inches shorter then me, accept, and we order the Beef Ribs with mashed potatoes. Some appetizers come out a little while later, and we make sure that both of us are eating the same amount, so one person doesn't have the edge. Then our Ribs come out, and they look horrible. I mean, there was practicly no meat on the bone. So we start eating the mashed potatoes, which were really good, and then the Ribs. The Ribs not only looked bad, but even tasted worse! So, we called it a draw since both of us were really disapointed with the way our food turned out, and didn't want to eat anything since they did such a horrible job with our food. The good news is that we are going to have another compatition, but with Steaks, the next time we all eat at the Caparao's place. I for one am looking forward to dimolishing Kevin. Welp, see ya later.
