Another week has come by, so another post is in order. Life here in HI is going pretty well. I have today off from work and also there is no school on monday, so I am stoaked for this three day weekend. I think we are going to go on this really cool hike either tomorrow or on monday, so pics of that should be up on my flickr page in a little while. Everything else is going well. School is lame, since now all the exams are happening. Midterms start pretty soon, so life should get even more hectic when those start. The fam is going to be coming out in a couple of months for the wedding. I'm really excited about that since I should actually be able to see the wedding, and plus it's always good times when the fam comes out to visit. Other then that, nothin else really has happened, well, besides Valentines day. There was a group of 11 or so of us that went out to eat at this mexican food place called Cholos up in Haleiwa. I miss real mexican food. I swear, if somebody just opened up a real taco stand here, they would get bank. But, nobody has, so I am stuck with just eating crappy mexican food. Welp, that's it from my end. Late

So I must admit, I had probably one of the funniest/ most awkward experiences yesterday. I am in the process of filling out my papers for my mission and one of the things that I have to do is get a physical. So yesterday I went to the Kaiser in Kahuku for my appointment. Now, being a guy, it kind of sucks to get a physical anyways, since you have to do the ever famous "Turn your head and cough". So the time came for me to step up on the seat and drop the shorts. So I did, and then the doctor begins to tell me, "Now, while you are gone on your mission, make sure that you rub your testicals about once a month to make sure there are no weird bumps or anything on them. Also, this is where you put your fingers to check if you have a hernia, and after you cough, if you feel a bulge, that is not a good sign". I seriously wish I was making this all up, but I'm not. The guy was seriously telling me all of this while getting my physical. I just found it weird since this was my third time getting a physical in my short span of 18 years and the first time a doctor said ever said all of that stuff. So, that was my funny/awkward experience. School's going well, work's amazing, the weather is freakin cold, and that's pretty much it. That's it from my end. Late

It's been a while since I have actually made an update. Sorry about that blogger peeps. Um, so school is going really well right now. I'm enjoying my classes for the most part. I have a lot more work this semester then I did last semester but it's a good thing, keeps me busy, although now I have pretty much no free time to just chill. This semester is awesome though. We have had both the president of BYU Provo and BYU-Idaho come and speak at a devotional. Both of them are really amazing guys and I was really glad that I got to hear them speak. Other then school, work is going well. I found out today that I am getting $30.40 a day, so I'm pretty stoaked about that. I also found out today that the ever famous Sunset Pizza is getting shut down at the end of this week. It's a sad since that pizza is really good, although a little bit on the pricey side. Rumor has it that Quiksilver baught the lot that Suset Pizza is on and they are going to put in a surf shop. Also, Laie is moving up a notch. They have finally started doing renivation for the Taco Bell in the Laie shopping center. It's no Del Taco, but it's the closest that I can get to having real mexican food here on the islands. Well, that's pretty much it from my end. Hope all is well back on the mainland. Late
