What a week let me tell ya. Actually, that was pretty much sarcasam since nothing really happened to me this week. I was really really sick for a couple of days and almost spewed my brains out. No, I didn't even come close to spewing out my brains, but I did have the flu, cold, and a splitting headache all at the same time. I'm pretty sure that I got all of it from my basketball team since everybody has been sick lately, so me being the lucky guy that I am got it. It sucked though since I was sick during a basketball game this week and I refused to not play.
So besides me getting sick, not a whole lot else happened. Well, actually, there is a story. For this past Homecoming, my good friend Mark and I tried to get this girl to go to the dance with both of us since she wasn't planning on going. She is a pretty good friend of ours, but she said she made some plans with other people for that night. However, she did promise to ASK both me and Mark to the next dance. So in other words, we both got rejected, and she was just trying to be nice about it. For those of you who may not go to our school or just don't pay attention, we have another dance coming up in a week. So on Tuesday Mark and I just got out of a Block Y meeting and we happened to see her. We go up to her and say, "Hey Simone, Winter Ball is coming up in a week....." and we just paused hence the 5 periods. She then said "Guys, I really wanted to ask you both to the dance since you are just plain hott, but I have to go to Utah for my cousins wedding! I'm really sorry!" So pretty much, we got rejected again.
I actually just thought of another story that came off of that one. Again, Mark and I were hanging out after 2nd period, and I see this girl who I know and who is also close friends with Simone. So I get her attention (which wasn't very hard since Dan was with us also, and he has been quite loud lately) and we start talking about how Simone bailed out on me and Mark for a wedding. She said that Simone feels really bad about it, but she really does have to go to Utah for her cousin, but she would love to come with Mark and me to the dance. Luckily, we just started acting like we were gay, and so that kinda freaked her out. She tried this same thing with us at Homecoming, and don't get me wrong she is a very nice girl, but I don't really know her. She is just an aquantince, and it would be kinda weird if she went with Mark and I. So really, what all this comes down to is that Mark and I are going to be dates, again, for the Winter Ball. It should be cool since Carp bought mag lights to shine on people who are trying to have sex on the dance floor, so I am really looking forward to seeing people get really embarrassed! Good times, good times.

Today is Sunday and usually on Sundays I am hating life since I know that I have to go back to school in less then 24 hours. That isn't the case this Sunday though. Yeah, I still do have to go back to school tomorrow, but I'm not minding it that much anymore. Why the sudden change you may ask? The answer is quite simple...block schedule. Thanks to block schedule, I have only 3 periods a day, which are pretty easy too. So in other words, school is very very easy, and my classes are actually really fun. What a great way to end my last year in High School.
In other news, New England is beating the trash out of Pitt. right now in the AFC Championship game. Shame on all of you who doubted New England and their greatness! The funny thing is that they are running short handed and yet they still beat the crap out of opposing teams. Like last week when they just demolished Indy and the Manning run offense. So New England will play Philly in the Super Bowl and again beat the trash out of them and keep their dynasty going. The sad thing about the playoffs though is that only two teams from the west coast made it, and both of them lost. I think that is kinda sad since there are a lot of great players here on the west coast, but we never do good in the NFL Playoffs.

I swear I love having a four day weekend. It is flippen awesome! Wasn't a real busy weekend for me, but it had its perks. Saturday was just a day of me chillen at home alone and watching sports. Sunday was church and a fireside later on that evening, which was pretty good. Afterwards though we went over to Bishops house and made donuts and watched The Best Two Years. That movie is really awesome and even if you are not a member of the church, you will still really enjoy it. Yesterday was guys night which was awesome. All the guys just came over here, we watched some classic comedy movies, and just chilled out really. It was a blast since we haven't really done that in a long time and hopefully we will be able to do that more often. Well, it shouldn't really be a problem since us guys are losers and don't hang out with any girls. Actually we tend to scare them away.
Besides me having a, for the most part, laid back weekend, I got some really good news today. I got excepted to BYU-Hawaii! I must say, I am really excited about this (hence the exclamation point after the last sentence). This is the school that I really want to go to and one of the only ones that I applied to. I will be going there in the fall, to be with my sister Ashley who is a student there also, and possibly my cousin who is over there right now. It's going to be scary leaving high school, but going to BYU-Hawaii is going to be an awesome experience, and I know that I will love every minute of it. The only way that life could get better now is if a certain somebody moved down closer or even to Hawaii with me. You know who you are.

Finals are over! I don't think that I have ever been as excited as I am now to hear those three words in that order. To me, it just sounds plain studly. Also, it gets better. We have a four day weekend! Man, I swear block schedule is the greatest thing ever made. I mean, four classes a day, and then half way through the year you get four new classes. Actually, starting next week, I only have three classes instead of four. I must say, school is actually starting to turn around for me. At first I thought it was lame and there was no point in me being there, but now it is going to be really easy and I get to leave and go home early.
As for my life out of school, not a whole lot is going on really. It is actually warm and sunny again, so I'm excited about that. Southern Cali is still recovering from the non stop rain and all the mud slides, but we don't really have to worry about that here in Yucaipa. The blvd. turned into a river though, so that was kinda cool. Then again, whenever it rains the blvd. turns into a river. There's our tax dollars at work.

Welp, it wasn't a really exciting weekend, but it had it's perks. However, the best part of it all didn't even happen on the weekend. That is right folks, I recieved my Christmas present. Yes, I know that it is January and Christmas is over, but this was ordered before Christmas and I got it on Thursday. For those of you who may be thinking "what the crap is this guy talking about?" here is the answer. I got an MP3 player. Not just any MP3 player! It's a Dell DJ Pocket. This is by far the coolest thing that I own. It holds 2,500 songs, which is more then the i-Pod mini, and it cost less then the i-Pod mini. The DJ Pocket is 5GB while the mini is only 4GB. So pretty much all I have been doing lately is downloading all my music onto my DJ Pocket.
Other then the USPS delivering me my cool DJ Pocket, they also sent me a cool little letter. I got excepted to BYU in the ever famous Provo Utah. I have only applied to two colleges, and both of them are BYU schools. I applied to Provo and Hawaii. I really want to go to Hawaii, but if I don't get excepted there, then Provo is my back up plan. My sister also really wants me to go to Hawaii, not just because I will hang out with her all the time, but she doesn't want me to "turn into an Ambercrombie fag". I kid you not, that is what she said, and it is not far from the truth, since Utahins wear Ambercrombie. For those of you who may not know, I really do not like Utah. I am a spoiled Southern Cali boy, and I love the warm weather. Utah is too crazy for me. It is either freezing cold, or extremely hot. Also, the ocean is way to far away, and I love the beach. Finally, probably the main reason why I want to go to Hawaii is because of the ladies. Yeah, there are a lot of good looking ladies up in Provo, but in Hawaii there are a lot of good looking ladies in swimsuits. Need I say more?

Well, for those of you who may have not gotten the memo, it is the year 2005. I must say, I am actually really excited about this memo. It is the year 2005! I didn't think that this year will ever come. Now, it feels like I am a Senior in High School because I graduate in about 6 months. I am excited to finish school. Honestly, I am. Last year if you were to ask me if I liked school, I would have said yes. Now it is a big fat HELL NO! Especially right now. Today was the first day back to school, and I didn't want to go. I had an awesome break hanging out with my brothers and sisters, playing basketball, and best of all talking to a certain someone pretty much every day. It didn't even feel like I ever left school for 2 weeks. So for the most part school sucked. To be honest, I wanted to see pretty much 5 people that I didn't see over the break, and that is just the gang.
Other then school sucking, New Years was pretty dang cool. As I said in my previous post, my fam. was going to go see Les Miz down in Hollywood, and that play was unbelievable! It was dang awesome, and honestly pretty much the perfect New Years Eve activity. I got home at like 11:45, and I heard the 12:00 celebration while I was in the bathroom, then went to bed. There is only one way it could have been a better New Years, and that is if Jess was there to spend it with me, and then for maybe a little kiss at midnight. I like this little fantasy world of mine! Anywho, hope you all have a Happy New Year, and most of all, have fun. Late
