I have to admit that today was all in all a pretty fun filled day. Started out kinda dull with me just cleaning my room, which really needed to get done. Later on a group of us got together and did filming for our English class. Yeah, it is pretty lame that we are doing school work over spring break, but in case you haven't noticed this from my other posts, I am a loser. It's pretty sad I know, but it is true. So we did filming and it was pretty sweet. We went to Marks house, at pizza, got fat and happy, and did some filming. Later on the Russian came by and helped us out with some editing stuff, since after all when you are Russian, you have to have a knowledge of compys. Just playin Misha, you know your awesome.
One thing has been messin with my head though lately. Well, it always messes with my head but now more then other. Women. Seriously, I just flat out do not understand them. I mean I seriously don't get it when a guy approaches a girl and tries to start up a convo, but just completly gets shuned out. I mean come on, can we at least get a "Leave me alone" or "Get away from me you filthy dog"? How hard is that? Now for those of you who may actually care, here is the Readers Digest version of the story. This girl moved into my ward, we started talkin, became aquainted and what not, didn't see eachother for like two weeks (since sometimes I hate going to church so will use whatever excuse I can not to), and recently I have seen her again, tried to communicate, but nothin. I'm not looking for a girlfriend or anything, I just want to talk. I mean yeah she is hott, intelligent, funny, and just plain rad, but she has a boyfriend so I'm not even thinking about dating her. So now for a request, actually more like a plea. Girls, if a guy tries to talk to you, don't ignore him, even if you don't want to talk to him. At least say "Get away from me you flippen idiot" or whatever so we at least know that we have been denied. Giving us the silent treatment gives us false hope that maybe she will talk to me later. So really, this plea can help both male and female alike. Helps the male to know that he has been denied, and it will stop the male from bothering the female later on. So in closing, I shall quote a great line from the ever famous Jerry Maguire that fits very well with this subject. "Help me, help you. Help me, help you!"

I am very very excited right now. There are two reasons behind my excitment and so I will say them and then go into more detail about them. First reason: I am winning in both of the NCAA tounrment bracket contests that I am a part of. The first one that I am in is with my brothers and my dad, and this is the first year that I have ever lead after two rounds. The other one that I am in is with Carp and Joel from Student Council. In both of the contests, the losers have to buy lunch for the winner and of course for themselves. In the one that I am doing with Carp and Joel, it's funny since Carp is in dead last and Joel never even watches basketball. Good times, good times.
Now for the second reason for my excitment. For the next two weeks, I will not have to go to school. What is the reasoning for this great news some of you may ask. Well, it is a little thing that I like to call Spring Break. That is correct, for the next two weeks, I don't have school. It gets better. On the second week I am going camping with the guys from my church, so that should be pretty fun. I am also playing in the County All Star game tomorrow night, so that should be exciting as well. Other then all this, nothing else is really happening in my life. Still no girl although I have found somebody who I want to go to prom with. She's one of my good friends and I know me and her would have a blast at prom. Welp, that's it from my end.

Today is Sunday. It's a great day, but then again it isn't. It is the last day of the weekend and that means that school starts tomorrow. Then again, it is the weekend, thus I don't have to be at school right now. The best part about today though is that it is Selection Sunday. For those of you who may be un-educated in the ways of college basketball, let me be your master, and I shall call you my "grasshopper". Today is the day when the ever famous brackets for the ever famous NCAA tournament were filled out. This is also the beginning of the end for my brothers and father because I am going to win in the traditional Luszeck Bracket Competition. I am also in another contest with Carp and Joel, so that just means that I will be getting double the lunches. I was pretty shocked in how the #1 seedings went though. Illinois and North Carolina deserved to be the top seeds, but I was shocked that Washington and Duke were also #1 seeds. That's why I love March because this is the month when college basketball reaches its peak and gets exciting.
So other then college basketball, nothin else really has been going on. Well, I take that back. Yesterday I actually got a sunburn. Yeah, it was pretty funny actually. It was a beautiful day here in good old Yucaipa, and so I thought that I would read my book outside without a shirt on. Well, I ended being outside longer then I thought I would be, thus resulting in my chest getting red. It's ok though since today it was overcast and I had a chance to heal my wounds with Aloe Vera. Man I love that stuff. Well, hopefully I will have the sunburn now and my skin will get used to the sun, thus resulting in me getting a tan this summer before I head to Hawaii. Welp, I'm done, so later.

The past couple of days have been pretty eventful. To start off with, yesterday during third period, my really good friend Joel was telling me that his stomach was really bothering him. I didn't really take much heed to it and just said that it was gas or he needed to go poop. Man was I wrong. At lunch when I was going home (since I only have 3 classes and leave at lunch), he called me and said that he wasn't going to be volleyball practice because his stomach is really hurting him, so he is going to the emergency room. Later on that night I get a call from his dad while I am at my basketball banquet, and he told me that Joel is going in for surgery to remove his appendix. I went to visit with him today and he is doing really good. Good thing that removing the appendix is a pretty routine procedure other wise I would feel really bad about the whole gas thing. It was pretty funny going down there today though since his dad was telling me that yesterday when Joels heart was hooked up to one of those monitors, they kept on saying Brittany (Joels girlfriends name) and his heart would start racing. All in all, I was glad to go see him and he should be going back home either tonight or tomorrow.
Like I said earlier, we had the basketball banquet last night. It was pretty cool, although I am really glad that the season is over. I got quite a bit of awards, so it was worth it. I got a plack for being Captain, I got CO-MVP of the team with Stephen, and I also made 1st Team All League. When Coach was announcing that I made All League, he said that I was three points in the voting away from also getting CO-MVP of the entire league. I was both excited and sad about that. Excited since that is truely an honor, but sad since I didn't get it and then I started to analyze myself and what I could have done better. Welp, that is pretty much it. Other then that I still have not heard from Jess, and probably will not either. I have left the ball in her court, since I am tired of always trying to get a hold of her, leaving messages out of the yin-yang, and never hearing back. That is mainly my love life, or lack thereof in a nut shell.

So I must say that this was all in all a good weekend. We had a volleyball tournament yesterday, which we did really well in. We lost in the semis to the team who went on to actually win the whole tourny, so I didn't really feel to bad about that. It was just a fun day though, hanging out with the guys on the team. Afterwards some of us went over to a guy who was on the team last year house and just hung out. It was alright, but not great, so I left pretty early. Today my parents and I skipped out on church to get some shopping done. We went to Barnes and Noble, then to lunch at Claim Jumper, then went out to Cabazon. Good times, good times.
Other then the weekend, life as a single man goes on. Still no word really from the girl of my dreams. Tried texting her today and actually talked for a while, but then got nothing. Part of me says that I should just try and move on, but even though she lives up in No Cal, I am still falling head over heels for her. It's weird, and I have never felt this way before. Welp, take care.

Today was flippen sweet! Eight of us from student council went down in a sweet limo down to our prom site in Newport, and the site is just amazing. We got all dressed up and took pictures down there to advertise for prom. The place looks like an old mission and its just awesome. There is really no other way that I can put it. I have to say that the limo ride was the best though since all these people thought we were famous, so we would just roll down the windows a little bit and wave to them. We actually made this little girls day by doing that. She started waving to us and Joel waved back, and she got all excited. She was pretty much jumping up and down in her seat. On the way back we went to Olive Garden, which I must admit was the first wimt I have ever been. The food there is flippen sweet! I had the Seafood Alfredo and just loved every bite of it.
Other then us going to the prom site today, we had our first volleyball scrimage yesterday. It was a really good match with us beating the trash out of the league champions from last year. We have a really good team this year. It's flippen sweet since we joke around a lot, and are just amazing on the court. I'm really looking forward to this season, especially since basketball was a huge failure. Welp, that is all from my neck of the woods. Oh wait, actually there is one more thing. Happy Beer Day everybody! I heard that on the radio in case you were wondering.
