This summer has pretty much been me either working, going down to Oceanside for that little while, or me watching movies, as was the case this weekend. People are just too cool to hang out with me so I just watched movies. I have watched The Last Samuri, Troy, Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, Wedding Crashers, and Team America World Police. All of these movies are really good. Charlie was a good movie, even though Willy Wonka is kinda weird. It's a lot different then the first one, but it is still a really good movie. Wedding Crashers was a really funny movie, and it is really sad how Will Ferrell goes and crashes funerals. That's just low man.
The main point of this blog though is that I wanted to bring up something from the movie Troy. For those of you who have seen it, in the beginning there a man starts the movie out by saying something that really caught me. He says "Men are haunted by the vastness of eternity. And so we ask ourselves, would our actions echo across the centuries? Will strangers hear our names, long after we're gone, and wonder who we were, how bravely we faught, how fiercly we loved?" Now my question that I would like to bring up is how awesome would that be? How great would it be to a be a person that does something that people will be hearing about until the end of time? We hear people like that in our history classes either that were good people, bad people, or those that are completly nuts. I'm not saying that I am going to try and do something that will make me a part of history like what Achilles does in Troy, but how amazing would that be? That's it from my end. Late.

It actually has been a really long time since my last update, but I'm kinda bored so what the hell. Not too much has happened really, just me working and going down to my beach house. The beach house was awesome, and it sucked that I was only there for a week, but unfortunatly that is all the time that I took off of work. We were supposed to go camping but that trip got canceled due to everybody workin, so I went to la playa by myself. No joke, I was there, in our condo, alone, for four straight days, and I didn't meet any ladies. Kinda sad, but then again, I am a loser so oh well. I got to hang out with my cousins a lot while I was down there, so that was fun. Joel also came down for a day and took me to the best mexican food place that I have ever been to in my life. All I can say is that it was really good and I miss it.
Also, work has been pretty fun. These past couple of days the slides just turn off at about 4 in the afternoon so that has been pretty cool. Also, there was a lightning storm today and I thought I was going to die since I was at the top of the slides with a walkie talkie. Luckily I did survive. I also found out for sure that Jamie has the hotts for me, so I will have to keep everybody posted on how that goes. We also had a campout the other night down in the Redwood area of the park. We went slidding and that was pretty fun, but I didn't really stay long since everybody started to drink and smoke the hukka so I went home. Drinking and smoking doesn't sound much like a party to me. A party for me is either swimmin and hott tubbin it up at Marks house, or hooking up 4 X-Box's over at B-Randon's place.
Other then the beach house and work, I have seen quite a bit of movies this summer. Well, quite a bit by my standards since I don't get out much. I have seen Batman Begins twice, The Longest Yard, War of the Worlds, and Star Wars twice. I want to go see Wedding Crashers, Fantastic 4, and also Willy Wonka, but that will come in due time. Late.
